This cable makes the connection to the usb and 3.5mm input found in the center console.

There are 2 options available to connect this cable to your BMW or BMW Mini.

A : In case there is USB/AUX INPUT in your BMW or MINI, The cable will charge your Iphone or ipod.
You will be able to select songs from IPOD/IPHONE/IPAD via iDRIVE. The songs Name Will also be displayed on your
car stereo.

For Example : Go to Your idrive menu --CD/Multimedia -- External devices -- choose your IPOD/IPHONE/IPAD

B : In case there is only AUX INPUT in your BMW or Mini Models, you can connect the USB to cigarette lighter to
charge your IPOD/IPHONE (need cigarette lighter USB adapter, not included) It will play music from IPOD/IPHONE/IPAD
on car stereo but controls will remain on the device.The song names will not displayed on car stereo.

For Example : Go to idrive menu --CD/Multimedia -- External devicesNote :

For most of BMW models, It will work with idrive( if option is fitted ),but for a few bmw models, It will not work with Idrive, it will only act as AUX input and usb charge function,
All controls will remain on the iphone 5 itself.

Upon our test, this cable will NOT work with idrive in below car models, they can only be used as AUX input and
USB charge with below models.

How to install:

a, Connect 3.5mm mini jack to your BMW AUX-IN socket when the switch is off.
b, Start your car
c, Turn on your radio then switch to AUX.
d, Plug in your ipod/iPhone
